British Science Week 11-20th March

Science WeekIt amuses us that British Science Week runs for longer than a week, but it should also run for a lot longer – you can’t squeeze science in to just one week! (Or rather you can’t squeeze it into 10 days)

Whatever you do, don’t miss this opportunity to get children talking about a subject that often gets overlooked.  Why not spend the week having a look at the work of famous scientists (don’t forget the women!).  Or how about running a competition for children to do a bit of science at home with their parents and present it to their class and school.

I will be out and about working in Solihull schools for science week, from some flashes and bangs for the children to judging a science event, it is set to be a fantastic week as always.  If you need a bit of support with ideas and knowledge then why not try out Ask Dr. Matt.
